We are a Food Tech company manufacturing Malaysian Traditional and Halal Snack Food which focuses on freshness, healthy and natural ingredients to be enjoyed by people of all walks of life. We come from a humble beginning processing and selling spices and herbs to retails buyers, home makers, restaurateurs and food industry manufactures since 35 years ago. Along the way we improved on our crafted and catered more request of the market which helped us move closer and closer to consumers until we arrived at producing highest quality snack foods which minimal and natural cooking methods.
Our History
The beginning
Somasundram founded a grinding mill in a half rented shop and an old grinding machine to produce flours and spices. The business was named Sri Ipoh Flour Mill
The factory
Somasundram bought a new factory in Menglembu with and started wholesale business to restaurant, market vendors and food manufacturing companies.
Growing
2nd factory full operational now with Ipoh Kacang Putih as primary products and flour & spices as secondary business.
2nd Generation started operating the business.
Obtained HALAL certified.
Next Level
A new co. was incorporated as Private Limited under the brand name WelNuts to unify all the business under one roof and new semi automated machines were purchased to increase the production capacity .
Wholesale, OEM and corporate sales driven.
Online sales & Export
Started focusing on export markets, online sales, digital marketing and retail sales with distribution channels
